OK Dildo Learning Time
#1 Get the Right One
Every year there are more and more dildos available, the hard part is now finding the one that’s right for you. There are loads to consider like length, girth, realistic and even the material it’s made of.
If deep penetration is a little uncomfortable sometimes, then then you should use a shorter size. Material is something people can get near religious about. At PlayBlue we try to cater to everyone, if it realistic you are after go cyberskin, if you want super smooth then silicone is the only way to go. If you are looking for flexibility or something soft go jelly, temperature play go glass...and on and on. A great idea if you’ve never used one is go to a sex shop (PlayBlue have two, one in Tallaght and one in Kilkenny..just saying like) and have a play with the display models. At PlayBlue we’d be delighted to help you out here, just ask.
#3 This is Not a Rush Job
To have a great experience you need time to be relaxed. Try to make sure you won’t be interrupted. There is a time and place for a quickie but take the time to learn how to use a dildo.
Also you need to get in the mood, foreplay is important in masturbation too. Treat yourself right.
#4 A Pillow under your bum and lie down.
This is a great starting position. Lie down, place a pillow under your bum to tilt your pelvis which will make the g-spot much easier to reach.
#5 Don’t be Stingy with the Lube
Look its cheap (well at PlayBlue anyway) so use plenty of lube, especially starting off. It really will make this soooo much nicer.
Just make sure it’s compatible with your dildo. Silicone lubes usually aren’t.
#6 This is NOT a race
Slowly slide the dildo in and don’t force anything. If your struggling a bit...more lube. No rapid movements to start, experiment move it around search for the most pleasurable spots.
As you get more comfortable and you figure out what you like slowly increase the pace.
#7 Go Deep
Now you should be ready to mix it up and go deeper. While you have it deep try to move you pelvis to help the dildo touch all those hard to reach spots. With a little play and time you will find all your sweet spots.
#8 Now Try Shallow Movements
All women have their g-spots in different places yours could be much lower than most so shallow quick thrusts may work really well for you.
A little play here will help you figure out if you need to work deep penetration or shallow play plenty of movement and change up of pace of the dildo and pelvis will teach you all you need to know about what works best for you.

Some women love the doggy position and others love it when they are lying on their tummy. You need to change up the position to discover what you like.
#10 Suck it Up and go Handsfree
Suction Cup dildos allow you to go handsfree. Try it on the toilet seat or standing up in the shower or the side of the bath or…. You get the idea.
