PlayBlue Shipping Details
We always ship in discreet extra strong packaging with absolutely no indication of the products being delivered. We actually double pack all orders and sometimes even triple pack. The external packaging is always a strong weather proof unbranded grey plastic mailer that will keep the package well protected from the elements and prying eyes.
There is no indication from the outside of the packet the contents or who it was sent by, the courier will not even know the contents of the package. We take your privacy super seriously and can 100% guarantee discretion and privacy.
We are so discreet about 30% of our orders are delivered to work addresses so rest assured you're safe with us.

Dublin Express Delivery
We have partnered with GRAB Deliveries in Dublin to deliver our Dublin orders same day for early orders and 24 hours at most for the rest 7 days a week. If you order before 12:30pm with a Dublin Eircode your order will ship with GRAB and delivery attempted same day between 3pm-9pm. If you order after 12:30pm your order will be delivered the next day. This is 7 days a week (excluding bank holidays).
So in short get your order Same Day for early orders or Next Day for late orders 7 days a week in Dublin - Oh and we are doing this at no extra charge.
Vital you include a Dublin Eircode when ordering to get the fastest delivery.
Super Fast Delivery
We use An Post Express Courier for deliveries. We ship most of our orders on the same day as they are ordered. If you order before 4pm (working days) it will be dispatched same day. We always carry a huge amount of stock on all our main selling product lines so we can quickly dispatch your orders. Over 99% of all orders dispatch same or next day (we'll get to 100% if it kills me), so with PlayBlue it really is a case of Order today and have it tomorrow.
Our courier only collects weekdays so orders placed after 4pm Friday will be collected by the courier on the next working day, usually Monday for delivery the next working day.
In the really rare occasion we have a stocking glitch or a run on a product you ordered there will at most be a delay of a couple of business days but we will let you know first.
We display stock levels on our products so you can easily see what we have in stock and ready to go.
Our courier service offers next working day delivery anywhere in Ireland north and south. So once we dispatch you will receive an email and can expect delivery the next working day. There is a tracking code and full details on the courier service we used. An Post will also send you an SMS with an expected delivery schedule and tracking codes and a link to alternate delivery options.
Our courier service operates Monday to Friday with deliveries during the working day. In urban areas An Post also deliver on Saturdays but this service is not guaranteed. So please give us an address where you will be available to accept delivery. Don't worry it can be a work address, we can guarantee utter discretion, the courier will not even know what is in the package.
The An Post delivery service includes the option for you to set delivery choices for your address. These include setting alternate delivery instructions or using their network of pickup boxes. Also of course if you miss a delivery your parcel can be collected at your local An Post depot. A valid Irish phone number is vital for courier delivery or the delivery will be delayed.
If we hit a snag in our service we'll let you know straight away and tell you the problem and how long delivery will be, but rest assured we will do everything we can to ensure the quickest delivery time.
If for some unknown reason you don't get a dispatch email from us after 3 or 4 business days, please email or call and we'll sort it out. We may ship part of your order if there is going to be a delay with a potion of your order and we may also ship multiple orders together to reduce shipping costs if possible.
In-Store Pickup is available in our Cork and Tallaght stores. This option is only available if all the products you have ordered are in stock in your chosen pickup store. For Tallaght this is no issue as we stock everything so it will always be available, but for Cork we hold about 80% of our stock so chances are we will have it. But please bear in mind for some orders pickup in Cork will not be available. You can always call the Cork store for alternatives..
Please bring ID when picking up in-store. Lastly this is obviously a no courier option but some customers then change their mind and ask for the order to be delivered. This is no issue for orders over €20 but orders under €20 we will ask for the usual €4 shipping contribution.
Track & Chase
Getting a delivery from PlayBlue should never be hassle. You don't want to hear the couriers sob story or how busy they are or that their van exploded, you just want your PlayBlue goodies. We get it! We're the same.
This is why we run our own Track & Chase program on every package shipped. Our systems actively track your parcel after they leave our warehouse and any issue we'll chase the courier for you and try to resolve it. Most issues we resolve without you ever knowing there was anything a miss. Just another way PlayBlue tries to do things better.

Free Courier Shipping*
We believe in the simple life. We just want to make it as straightforward as possible for you to order from PlayBlue. We also want to make it fair and easy to use.
So spend €20 and we'll ship it for FREE anywhere in Ireland or Northern Ireland. If you spend less than €20, go back look again I'm sure you can find something else that tickles your fancy otherwise I'm afraid we will have to charge you a small contribution to shipping of €4.
We use a couple of different courier companies depending on the size of the parcel. The vast majority are shipped using An Post Express. They offer a great customer service with by far the most extensive delivery network in Ireland. If you create an account with An Post you can create backup delivery options too.
Please make sure you choose an address you are available to collect the parcel at as we are unable to change the shipping address once it has been dispatched. Our courier will need a signature to complete delivery.
An Post Parcel Lockers
When we ship your order with An Post you will receive a SMS from An Post telling you when to expect your delivery. They also in that SMS offer Alternate FREE Pickup options including Parcel Locker.
An Post Parcel Locker is an expanding network of Parcel Lockers (often near Lidls) that are free to use and offer a convenient 24 hour safe pickup point for parcels. If you choose this option, once delivered you will be sent an SMS with a Pin to open a locker. Then pop to the locker location chosen and using the pin collect your parcel. Simple and Free!
When Will I Get It?
We need to split this into Dublin and the Rest of the Island.
Order before 12:30pm and the courier will collect and attempt to deliver same day between 3pm and 9pm. Order After 12:30pm and you have probably missed the courier pickup so your delivery will be the following day between 3pm and 9pm. Bank Holidays are the exception.

An Post Parcel Locker - You can choose to have your parcel sent to the local An Post Parcel Locker by choosing this option from the delivery notification SMS you will receive from An Post. To use this service just order as usual and once you receive the SMS after dispatch from An Post you can select the alternate delivery option Parcel Locker. This is free to use and their expanding network of locations are safe and secure with 24 hour access.
OohPod - Created by the founders of ParcelMotel and operate in much the same way. They only have a few locations mainly in Dublin and the North but they are expanding rapidly. To use you will need to create an account with OohPod.
Shipping to Northern Ireland
Shipping to Northern Ireland is FREE on orders over €20 same as in the south.
With the Northern Ireland protocol arrangement in the the Brexit saga shipping from Ireland to Northern Ireland remains the same as before.
So Next Day Courier delivery is free to orders over €20
Shipping to Great Britain (excluding NI)
Brexit has thrown shipments into Great Britain into chaos this as you can imagine is a very fluid situation. We have halted all shipments to mainland Britain until the dust settles and we have a clear picture of the process required.
Northern Ireland is still of course FREE shipping.
Shipping to Europe
Until we can get a reliable affordable shipping option outside of the Ireland we have stopped shipping anywhere else.
PlayBlue In-Store Collection
We are delighted for you to click and collect shop with PlayBlue or as we used to call it in the distant pass - going to the shops. We have two stores in Cork and Tallaght, you can select either as the pickup location.
To choose this option just shop as normal and checkout. Then contact the support to ask for In-Store Collection, you will need your order number and of course will need to email or call us with your request before we have dispatched your order.
No Quibbles - Problems - Returns
We want you to be 100% totally satisfied and we really mean that. So if you have a problem with your product or some question between ordering and dispatch or any other reason just send us an email with your order number and the problem and we'll get back to you and we promise we'll sort out whatever the problem is.
Unfortunately we can't cancel an order that has entered dispatch though.
