1,000 - TrustPilot Reviews
It is a milestone for any website and for an Irish website is never easy unless you cheat. After years of collecting these reviews we have reached 1,000 reviews on an independent reviews portal TrustPilot. This is literally 1,000 people who have taken the time to leave a review on TrustPilot for their purchase on PlayBlue. We have no access to edit them or filter them etc this is totally independent of us. A big thank you to everyone who has left an honest fair review. We really appreciate the feedback and over the years we have been humbled and corrected many times by our customers.
We have a 4.5 out of 5 score which translates to excellent and it is something we are proud of. Not many Irish companies get to 1,000 reviews and we are the only Irish adult store to get even close. As you can imagine convincing people to leave a review for their sex shop purchase in Ireland is never easy.
I know in the past I have written about my issues with review websites as they allow websites who pay them to in effect filter out reviews giving a fake score, we don’t pay TrustPilot anything. All our reviews are totally independently collected so that 4.5 includes all the cranks too. The sad thing is after posting this blog post we will get a slew of negative reviews from spammers and competitors who never purchased from us and there is nothing we can do about it.
A few insights gathered from the reviews is the biggest joy and complaint is always the delivery. It also reminds us everyday how important delivery is to our customers. If we ship it next day and the courier delivers on time we get 5 stars. Then if we ship next day and the courier makes a balls of it and delivers in 3 days we get 1 star. It can be a little frustrating as it is a little out of our control but it is a great indicator on how the delivery service is working.
The other things I love to read are staff compliments which is always nice to hear.
