People say a picture is worth a thousand words, well how many is a video worth?
We know one of the biggest hurdles to buying a sex toy online is you are never 100% sure exactly what you’ll get.
How big is 19cm or 3” circumference etc. It can be very difficult to get a real idea exactly what the product looks like. Is it soft or hard? how does it work? Is it loud? There are hundreds of questions that we could try to answer but unless you have it in your hands you’ll never answer them all, can you?
Well at PlayBlue we thought we’d give it a go. We decided to start shooting point-of-view short videos that don’t do the hard sell just try to give you the basic information on what a product looks like, feels like, sounds like and how it works.
We are trying to shoot the videos as if you are holding the product and they are purposely short (about 1 minute) and full of the information you would want to know if you are in a sex shop asking the staff. No distractions just the product.
Now you might have to bear we us as we are not expert film makers, we are just passionate sex shop owners who want to shoot the best most informative sex toy demo videos we can. The last thing we want to produce are slick marketing videos. We wanted to shoot the reality of the product so you get a true unbiased view of what the sex toy will be like. This will hopefully give you the confidence to make a well informed purchasing decision.
We have just started shooting these videos and our plan is to ramp it up over the next few weeks to try to get a video on if not all our sex toys then definitely all the most popular.
