The most fun massage “oil” I have ever tried

Sensual experiences are so nourishing that I can feel my whole being purring from them. So I happily tried and tested lots of massage oils and candles. But this was my first time doing anything with a massage foam.

The Orgie Acqua Croccante - Moisturising Crunchy Massage Foam comes in the usual foam can. The fragrance is called monoi, which means “scented oil”. According to the description the scent is coming from Tahitian gardenias soaked in coconut oil, so I was a bit worried if the fragrance was too sweet to my taste, but thankfully this was not the case. The perfume is very subtle and the whole feel is so refreshing, I personally liked it a lot. 

I started with shaking the can, then pressing the head and the foam was out. Just like with other foams the longer I press, the more is coming out, so the quantity is under control.

As the foam lands on the skin it feels fresh and a bit chill, but not really cold. The effervescence makes this foam different from the usual warm, relaxing oily feel.

As I started to massage the foam into the skin it started cracking that made me giggle. It feels very alive and energising. It is easy to spread wide or just around, the skin absorbs it easily. It doesn’t leave the skin oily or sticky, but more moisturised and in my opinion my skin feels firmer afterward. 

Using a massage oil my expectation is that the oil needs the rubbing and some time to be absorbed and this is what makes it a good massage essence. The foam rubs in super easily so there is no need for longer massages and going over the area again and again. Still the skin is smooth and sleek and you can massage it without friction, the hand slides in the skin easily. Whenever I reapplied the foam, it absorbed with ease. So it is ideal for those who don't like the oily part of the massages.

I find the Orgie Acqua Croccante - Moisturising Crunchy Massage Foam fun and refreshing, but I’m personally using it for faster rubs or short massages including “just” moisturising. The scent is fresh, but discreet.

My only complaint is the packaging. The head of the can broke after a couple of uses, so I have to be very careful using it, because it just falls down. Still I love using it, especially when the weather is nice.
