This is not my first Tenga rodeo and I'm always intrigued when I have a new Tenga toy to review. They are very different from the classic Fleshlights, they don't go for imitating anything, but they are working on the feel and practicality. I appreciate playfulness and creativity, so I know I can count on them to present me with something else.
The Tenga Arte Weave Textured Masturbators are quite new at PlayBlue, so there are not many around in people's toy boxes. Yet. The masturbator comes in a plastic box with a transparent upper lid and a yellow base. Upon opening there is a plastic wrap around the toy, so the inner part won't stick to the plastic top. But it not just keeps everything separate, but it also has some instructions on it.
And yes, I understand if you say that there is not much need for instructions. Except the Tenga Arte Weave has a very practical packaging. The centre of the yellow base can be pulled up and it is a holder and dryer for the gel part with air holes. It is a very smart idea. There is a sachet of lube as well in the packaging to make everything more enjoyable.
When you take the gel part out of the holder you can feel how soft and resilient it is. It just feels amazing holding it. There is an inner (weaved) part that makes the toy tighter and also provides extra texture. Another brilliant idea from the creators. It always gets back to the "old", tight self, but instead of restriction it feels like a good hold with different textures. Without the outer shell, the tightness is in your hand, so your touch and your hold will define your experience. What can I say? I love the world of male masturbators (as well).
But you need a really, really good water-based lube. Even though the material is divine, without lube it is sticky, instead of giving you the feeling of gliding, ease and the right amount of stimulation. And when it is time to clean it, I can only admire the creativity again. I just pull the plastic inner holder and it will hold the sleeve while the toy is drying. There are lots of holes on it for ventilation. So when you are finished, you turn the sleeve inside out and clean it properly with a gentle hand soap or toy cleaner. And leave it on the rack to dry. It will let the air circulate properly.
