Klarna Pay Later - Now Available at PlayBlue

We have just added Klarna Pay Later payments as a checkout payment option on PlayBlue. This allows customers to split the payment or delay payments when ordering. Perfect for the week before payday. Consider Klarna like an payment installment option, really it is not a whole lot different to using a credit card that has a built in option to pay back in installments. 

Klarna is used by 100 million worldwide and is probably the most trusted name in the Pay Later market. We want to be 100% transparent here. There could be fees for you in using Klarna depending on the payment plan chosen. These fees are paid to Klarna and they control all these details so please ensure you read everything you are agreeing to when using them. I can also say the fees to PlayBlue are approximately 3-4 times higher than using card payments. We are NOT recommending Klarna, we are just adding it as a convenience payment option for customers who want to use it.

To use Klarna on PlayBlue just checkout as normal, then choose Klarna as the payment option. You will then be redirected to the Klarna website to complete payment. If you already have a Klarna account checkout is just a matter of logging in and choosing the payment method you prefer. The payment options offered are controlled by Klarna and PlayBlue has no input here. If you don’t have an account you will be guided through a signup process.

Klarna then pays PlayBlue for the full order (less their fees) and you will need to pay Klarna in the payment plan agreed when checking out. All post purchase payment queries will need to be directed to Klarna as again we have no input here. 

PlayBlue Advises Caution

This may seem weird but we really want to advise caution here, you are hopefully getting our vibe here. Klarna is a great option but it can also get you in trouble if you are not careful. When using Klarna there can be interest and fees involved in late payments. It’s like using a credit card you don’t actually pay upfront but if you don’t adhere to the agreed payment plan you will be charged fees and interest by Klarna. PlayBlue again has no input into this process as really the agreement is between you and Klarna when you use them.  

PlayBlue does not want you to spend what you can’t afford. It might seem like you are getting the sex toys really cheap but this is an illusion. You are just deferring payments, you will have to pay Klarna for completing the purchase with us. Tomorrow's problem will someday become today's problem.

Returns/Refunds With Klarna

Refunds with Klarna are complicated and costly for us so we will try to avoid them. We of course will honour all returns in the normal way, please checkout our full returns policy but with Klarna payments we will tend to work with the customer to agree refund options.
