This lube could have been better

The Swiss Navy lubes have an impeccable reputation. Their silicone lube is one of the best on the market. I loved their pure, water-based lube, so having new options coming to PlayBlue made me curious.

I have to admit that I had big expectations, because of the previously mentioned merits. Maybe this was a mistake. 

Kissable lubes are a good idea. They are adding a special flavour to oral sex. In the last couple of years they have become more mainstream. You can have them in some really delicious flavours, and they usually have a warming effect. The Swiss Navy - 4 in 1 - Ultimate Love Partner - Mango promises more. This lube is a 4 in 1. So let’s talk about this.

It is warming. It is slightly warming and they describe the sensation as relaxing and comfortable, and I agree with this. I think most of those who are very sensitive can safely use it without being too overpowering. I really felt the relaxation and comfort of it. 

It is edible and tastes good. The mango flavour sounds good, but it is very subtle. If I didn't know it was mango I wouldn’t have guessed it. It is nice, just not very remarkable and it doesn’t make you salivate when you are thinking about it. Of course this is very subjective, you maybe you are going to be more enthusiastic about it than me. My favourite kissable lubes are still the Amoreane Liquid Vibrator Cherry and Strawberry. 

They say it is a long lasting lube. I don’t agree with it. I find it pretty average. It doesn’t become sticky though, so it is not annoying, it just absorbs without a taste. But even when it is active I find the gliding average. To be honest, when you are using it for oral sex, this is fine. But if you rely on your lube for a lot of ease, then maybe this is not your best option.

Good for massages. To be frank I have never thought about using it for massages, but it is actually very good for that. They were probably thinking about genital massages, but I was inspired, and I liked it. It is not as a massage oil, hence it is a gel and it spreads differently, but still well. I felt my skin slightly warming up. Because of the absorption I’m talking about a quicker massage here, not a long, full body one. It is still lickable and you can slightly taste the flavour. 

I would also like to talk about the packaging. The pump works fine, I can control how much I want out of the bottle. The pump has a turnable head to close and open the flow, but there is no extra cup, which makes it a bit risky for travelling. 

In general I find the Swiss Navy - 4 in 1 - Ultimate Love Partner - Mango an ok edible lube, I just wanted more from it.
