Condoms are essential, still I waited this long to review them. The Skin Condoms Assorted pack gives me the option to try 3 different types, and having more insight, so I have opted for that one. I have also thought that it will be fun to experiment with them. :D And it really was.
A box contains 16 condoms, 6 natural, 5 ultra thin and 5 dots and ribs. The basic info like sizes and expiration date is on the box, but it is also on every condom, so you can always be sure if they are ok for you.
It was a pain in the ass to open the cellophane wrapping, and I’m supposed to be an adult, so do this before you are in action for an experience at ease (not necessarily the adulting, but the unwrapping.)
There is a little info booklet inside the box with the usual “How to use a condom properly” info, which I lost at a very inconvenient place, hopefully it won’t cause any relationship drama.
The individually wrapped condoms were easy to open. And the box states they don’t smell like latex, which is true. They don’t even taste like the usual latex condoms, but they smell and taste like vanilla. It is actually delicious. Even after I washed my hands I could still smell it a little bit. This is probably the smell and flavour of the lube on the condom.
According to the wrapping they are 19 cm long and around 5.5 cm wide +/- 2 mm. Of course it is resilient girthwise, but not very much, so I think there is a comfortable size range to consider.
I tried to rip them, and see how much they could handle. From the 4 (I tried both types and 2 of the Natural ones.) I was able to rip 1. What I found is that when they are filled they are super resilient, and they can rip when they are too big. I had to try for this a lot though.
Of all the varieties, Naturals were my favourites. I personally hadn’t found much of a difference between the Ultrathin or Natural to be honest. I don’t know why the Naturals felt more secure, but they did.
The Dots and Ribs is slightly textured. The ribs are on the top part and they are not very prominent. The dots are stimulating and they are at the bottom part. I’m sure some people will enjoy them, for me they don’t really make a big difference. They are also slightly smaller.
I think if you are average sized, you will probably like these condoms. The taste and smell of vanilla is a nice add on.
