Is the Doxy 3 as good as the “Big Boy”?
I reviewed the Doxy Massager Mains Operated Wand, the “Big Boy”. It is the famous, powerful, plug-in vibrating wand. With its 3 metres cable, huge motor and heavy body that wand is ready to make anybody cum anytime.
But what about the Doxy 3? Is it as good and strong as the Big Boy or what you can expect?
The Doxy 3 is also a plug-in massager. These are the strongest and they are always ready to go. But the Doxy 3 is a way smaller and lighter toy than the Original Doxy. It is very handy, fits in my palm easily, the buttons are big and easy to find (yeeee).
The button is the turn on/off. Pressing it longer activates the pulse mode. Pressing it shortly turns the deep, rumbly vibrations on. There is a + and a - button to control the intensity.
The head of the Doxy 3 is also way smaller than that of the Original Doxy. Still it is super powerful. According to the description on the, the Doxy 3 has a flexible neck. I wouldn’t say this. It moves slightly when it is pushed hard, but this is all the “flexibility”. The Doxy 3 is not waterproof or splashproof, so be careful with it.
The Original Doxy is on the louder side. When I turned the Doxy 3 on it was “loudish”, but when the wand reached the body it became louder. This is a minus for me. It won’t matter to some people.
The cable is long enough to reach wherever it needs to. But I don’t understand why it is a USB-C plug instead of “just” a USB. Thankfully one of my extenders has a USB-C slot, so I was able to use it, but if you plan to bring it with you, you probably need an adapter.
But let’s talk about the good stuff. The Doxy 3 vibrates very powerfully and it can make me cum. The head has a silicone covering that feels good on the skin and with some lube it glides easily on the skin, it is also removable to make the cleaning more easier.
It is easy to hold, which wasn’t the case with the Original Doxy, and even if I hold it in my hand, the vibrations thankfully don’t travel to my palm.
The Doxy 3 doesn’t cost much more than an average rechargeable wand which is also a plus in my eyes for a powerful, plug-in vibrator.
The Doxy 3 comes in a brown inner box, without the name on it, so if you choose to get rid of the outer covering, you have a “respectable, nothing extra” box hiding a powerful (but a bit loud) toy with a long cable.
