If you do ropes, you need this too

So many people buy ropes. And I get it. Ropes can be amazing. They are way more than just restraints, you create art. Ropes are not just artistic for the visuals, but they are a medium to create structure or create more freedom even. Rope flows can be as amazing as being bounded. Of course rope can be “just” practical too.
There is a lot to learn, but you can even start with a little to create something playful or rigid or creative or beautiful… It is all up to you.
Whichever direction you choose you have to be sure that your partner is safe. This is even more true if you use scarves or other kinds of textile for bondage. These can be more unpredictable, and sometimes they are all messed up and too tight when you find out that you can’t actually release your partner.
This is why everybody who practises bondage using rope or textiles needs to have safety scissors.
Why do you need safety scissors for bondage?
Safety scissors are made in a way that you won’t damage the skin when you are using them. They are sharp, so that you can cut the rope with them (or even your clothing underneath if this is what you need to release), but at the same time the tip of the scissors is rounded so that the skin can be safe from any harm. These kinds of scissors are often used in the medical environment to provide quick and safe access to the skin without damaging it.
Safety scissors are on the cheap side, still I don’t see many people who buy rope purchasing them as well. Of course maybe your scissors at home are very good, and in this case you don’t need special safety scissors like these.
The one that I got for my test doesn’t look exactly like the product photo though, because it has a rounded, navigating add-on at the edge as you can see on the photos.
