Big headed, powerful, ergonomic massage wand
My favourite vibrating bullet has recently died. It was all a very dramatic event, and even though I have so many toys, I decided I needed a new vibrator to feel better. So I got the Glam Bold - Wand Power Head as a new one.
To be honest I already have a bit of an experience with it, because I already had one in my hand in April at an international sex toy event as a “Coming Soon” option and I loved it.
The Glam Bold Wand Power Head is very different from the usual wands. It has a big, round head with lots of powerful, deeper, rumbly vibrations, but a shorter and thicker body. I find this combination very hmmm efficient in many ways.
The semiflexible head is very round and the surface is super smooth. It is a pleasure to feel it. I’m personally in love with the colour, it is my favourite kind of purple with some metallic accents.
Even though this is a shorter wand, it is thicker as well made with good quality materials, so it is surprisingly heavy, but at the same time this weight is distributed so well, that it feels nice to hold this wand. Half of the weight is in the head, probably because this is where the vibrating motor is.
The handle fits perfectly in my hand (I have a smaller hand), and it feels good to hold it. What I don’t like is the very plastic-like material of this handle. I wish this would be from a similar material as the head, just because it would feel even better.
But I also have to admit that the buttons are from this smoother silicon, and the difference between the 2 textures makes it easy to know where the buttons are, and usually this is what my problem is with most toys, that the buttons are not easy to find without looking. This is not a problem here.
There is a Turn On/Off button here, a plus button and a minus button. They work perfectly fine. The Glam Bold - Wand Power Head has the “usual” 3 intensities 5 rhythm functionality like most vibrators and it is easy to navigate between them. When the toy is on, there is a light around the turn on button that also flashes when the toy is recharging, just as I would expect.
I find the Glam Bold Wand to be medium loud. I understand that a big, powerful motor like this toy has, is a bit louder, but I would still prefer it to be more quiet. The vibrations are deep, I like the frequency a lot.
It has a magnetic charger with 90 minutes runtime.
I personally love this wand a lot, especially because of the big, round head, powerful vibrations and very ergonomic proportions. I wish it would be quieter though.
